Normandie Apartments

SIMCO assisted in the façade improvements at the Historic Normandie Apartments located in Midtown area. Work included demolition of existing 3 story front portico and construction new of new front portico to match Historic standards and to recreate the original look and feel of the 1900’s original apartment front. Great care was taken in brick demo to reincorporate as much original brick as possible back into the new product. New brick was used to match original brick, details included brick window arches. Structural work included new piles, footings, Cast in place concrete walls, Tube steel structure, wood framing, finish woodworking to match original trim details including original wood soffit, trim and toothing details.
